Our next concert

Hello Everyone!

Following on from the stunning performance of Britten's Lachrymae, played by Alma Orr-Ewing in September, we look forward to welcoming 2022 Taunton Young Musician Anthony Knight on Sunday 4th December at 3 pm in Temple Methodist Church, when he will play "Winter" from Vivaldi's Four Seasons for violin and strings, a seasonal favourite. I am told he also may have a short encore 'up his sleeve', so come along to give him what I am sure will be a justified ovation. The programme includes Elgar's much loved 'Serenade for Strings', the beautiful 'Lyric for Strings' by African American composer George Walker, a 'Partita for Strings by British composer Anthony le Fleming, and music by Telemann and Albinoni.
