Romance in the Air

Don't forget our upcoming concert next Sunday 15th February: keep that loving feeling with 'Romance in the Air' hot on the heels of St Valentine's day!

The concert promises to be not only romantic and evocative with Beethoven's Romance in F, Sibelius's Romance Opus 42 and Grieg's Holberg Suite but also highly interesting with a premiere of Sarah Wormell's '"Synthesia" - a Triptych of Colour'. Also, we are pleased to welcome once again the wonderful Lynn Carter as our soloist for Christopher Ball's Oboe Concerto - and we know you will be pleased too!

Please also note that we now have an extra event on our calendar. The Beacon Piano Trio are giving a concert in aid of Taunton Sinfonietta on April 12th at Temple Methodist Church, Taunton: a wonderful gesture which we are sure followers of Taunton Sinfonietta will wish to support and will undoubtedly enjoy. The programme includes Haydn, Telemann, Suk and Smetana.
